12:40 pm - Alex and Tiffany's Europe Trip - Part I (tres long post ahead!)
Reading Ellyne's travel blog about our summer in the States inspired this long overdue post about Alex and my life in Europe and London and I shall try to blog in as much detail as possible! :D
So anyhow we kickstarted our honeymoon on the majorly disappointing SQ A380 flight to London Heathrow - okay fair enough, the food, inflight entertainment and service was awesome, but the seats SUCKED. By the end of the 12-hour long haul our bodies were aching everywhere and we swore never to take A380 again :(
We pillow-talked the night away at Heathrow Lodge and eventually fell asleep at dawn, holding hands :) barely slept for an hour before we had to get up to catch the plane to pwetty pwetty Venice.

  Gorgeous sights of the Venetian city under the azure blue sky, taken on the water bus from Marco Polo airport to Rialto / our first photo taken in this trip, on the Rialto bridge :)

  Piazza San Marco and Basilica di San Marco, my favorite place in Venice. Piazza San Marco holds much significance, because we both fell in love with this poster in Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, and during the post-Berkeley emo days I just had to purchase one online and put it up on my wall so it would remind me of him. Now that we were physically here it felt even more speshul. ;)

We conquered Venice in just one day, and had tons of fun doing it because there was always a surprise at the end of every corner, every street. Andddd we had only been away from SG for two days and we were already craving for Chinese food, and we could not resist the idea of having dinner at this Chinese restaurant near our hotel. ;)

Here in Italy's Chinese restaurants, they use spaghetti instead of yellow noodles for fried noodles, but it turned out pretty darn well anyhoo. And when you order anything with crab, they give you crabsticks. What a rip-off! Anyhow, the food was good, albeit rather oily, and the bill came to 30euros, oh well!

Me + Alex Yummy / our pretty pretty Venetian hotel room, spot me! :)
The next day the hotel offered us a complimentary speedboat ride around the waters of Venice - ten thousand times better than the exorbitantly priced Gondola ride! :D

  hello driver / private boat, please
Eventually the boat dropped us at Murano, the Glass Island where the glass-blowing factory was. Very tourist trap-ish, but the glass-blowing process was pretty cool anyway.
At this point we got terribly bored of Venice already, so we decided to spend the rest of the day shopping for souvenirs instead, and we were craving for Chinese food -again-..

We realized that (1) Mandarin was more useful than Italian as a means of communication in Italy, and (2) coke was an absolute necessity in Italy's weather; coke to me was cigarettes to smokers. :D We also spent more time 'nua'-ing in our comfy hotel room because it was unbearably hot outside :)
The next day we flew to Rome! Rome is old, smelly, dirty and full of swindlers. ANYWAY.

  The Leonardo Express took us to the city of Rome, and we had to stamp the ticket before boarding the train - so old-school! :P by the time we finally found our hotel we were so exhausted we decided to nua in our hotel room for the rest of the day instead of going out and about :X and this was when we became official :D :D <3 <3
The next morning we went to the cafe near our hotel for breakfast - notice we were always eating either Chinese or American food, although cappuccino is a must-have for breakfast in Italy! :D
  American breakfast reminds me fondly of brunch at Crossroads back in Berkeley!
Then it was off to Vatican City! IMO the best part about Rome.

Inside the Vatican City:

Next up, the Colosseum!

Okay that's basically it for Rome, save for the unfortunate incident on the train where I got robbed in broad daylight. We were tres happy to get out of Rome and it was time to hit Zurich! Will update in the next post mannnn what a feat I've actually blogged this much :) :)

10:26 pm - my words will be your light to carry you to me Hello everyone! I've finally settled down to blog (a little) and since I'm leaving for Paris in 8 hours' time I'm going to blog stuff worth blogging and here goes
 Loving Zurich and the BBBBBBF (inside joke, although he'd really prefer me to use just one 'B' haha) We love Zurich for almost everything - the weather, the service, the clean city, the tasty tasteless tap water (really!), the CHIPS!!
First week of school is finally over and I ponned today's lecture just so we could sleep in, and I was late for my presentation during tutorial so I sound pretty much screwed already but heck cos everything is S/U and it's summer school!
Okay promise to blog more when I return from Paris. Can't wait to shop!!! :D :D tata xoxo!!

12:56 am - happy -official- one year to the berkelique! Omg reminiscing with Ellyne about the US trip and hearing updates from Jingxiu who's at UC Berkeley for summer school this year AND for the fact that one year ago today was the day when we flew off to San Francisco, have totally got me missing those good old days with a vengeance (not that I don't, every other single day).
And one year ago tomorrow would be the day when you first took my breath away : )
Remember my brunch buddy ;) Remember buffet-style meals @ the crossroads, highlighting the bbq chicken pizza, and daily must-have strawberries and waffles Remember the walk to class under the splendid 16 degree C weather and the gorgeous campus scenery Remember Alex and my failed campus jog turned campus tour :D Remember the Taboo / Cranium / Dirty minds nights and the amazing chemistry we share Remember the movie marathons and countless sleepovers thereafter at the guys' room, what with four people squeezing into one bed Remember the sleepover during the heatwave when I went, "Kyle, no airrrr" which wasn't funny but was made funny by Ellyne anyway Remember the Sather Tower fantasy :D Remember Goddess Ma'at and her 'mMMmm not bad arh!' face that only the 4 of us LOL-ed at, these shady Asian chicks! Remember Ellyne doodling on my notes! Remember the legendary Jiang Sian Sheng -laughs through nose-, -drops pen, falls off chair-, 'when is the research paper due?' Remember the countless embarrassing fiascos due to my stupidity at covering things up -___- Remember Alex and my conversion to Golden Bears cafe and the to-die-for buffalo wings and overordering just to finish spending our credit Remember 'zero displacement', thanks to Kyle :D Remember the 3-storey high Forever21 outlet at Union street where I bought clothes like crazy, seriously like crazy everytime I stepped in there Remember factory outlets and moar crazy shopping (LA's was my biggest conquest, thanks) Remember Kyle jumping off the bed to switch on every single light in the hotel room thinking it was 11am check-out time when it was actually only ten, and falling asleep the very next second (schizo??) so Alex had to get out of bed to switch off all the lights ROFL Remember KATE -pause- SPADE; Kate -pause- Hudson; Kate -pause- Moss, etc Remember 'Alcohol and underaged girls' in Vegas Remember Kyle suggesting waking up at 8.30am the next day and Alex promptly going, "8.30, fuck you. 8.30, screw you" Remember the car ride to Yosemite : ) Remember Newport Beach and the beautiful ocean and having amazing seafood at the highly acclaimed Crab Cooker Remember Ellyne and I singing out loud to the 'Grease' soundtrack in the car in LA Remember Cheesecake Factory, the monstrous-sized cheesecakes and utterly deelish Hibachi steak Remember conquering the Misty Trail with Alex and feeding squirrels cashew nuts Remember Alex and I lying on the soft clean grass under the Statue of Liberty in the perfect weather and enjoying the scenery with Death cab on the ipod Remember 'Spare change for food', and 'Need $$ for alcohol research' on panhandlers' placards Remember Ellyne and I feeling emo nemo towards the last few days in NY because this 7-week utopian world was going to end so soon :,( Remember waking up in own bed in Singapore and expecting to see a certain familiar face beside me because I was oh just so used to it already
Remember how we were all merely acquaintances at the beginning of the trip, and how we 'paired up'' in the end ;)
 You guys have brought fun, crazy and scandal to a whole new level :D :D

10:33 pm - as you can see, i'm having the time of my life what with durians and alcohol in the morning, '24' marathons and food adventures with Alex, shopping and more good food in the company of favorite people.. I really can't ask for more, can I?
Okay actually I can! We've booked flights and accommodation and other shenanigans to Venice, Rome, Zurich and Paris on top of our London trip, and I've more or less planned the itinerary so it's gonna be one helluva vacation (probably better than the US trip last year, methinks) :D
Ten more -agonizing- weeks till his internship ends and we'd flyyyy off! Can't wait can't wait omg omg :D Current Music: the show

05:51 pm - die fishics die I shall burn ALL my Biophysics notes after Friday's paper and take a video just to prove it (and perhaps roast marshmallows for added delight). The fact that it even irks me to feel the presence of the notes lying in my house after the exam is testament to how much I hate this module that I want every physical (ha!) bit of its existence obliterated from my life for ever.
I don't give a damn if Liz can't inherit these notes when she takes the module next year, for into ashes and dust it shall turn. ,,|,,

02:50 pm - the following event takes place between... Helloooo does anyone even read this blog anymore :X anyway just an update to prove that I'm still kicking and breathing. Life has been arrrrsome what with all the rocking twenny first birthday parties and hang-outs with favorite people. The semester's over, finals are here, I'm only done with one paper and for obvious reasons I'm already embracing the three month summer break. :D
So anyway heck the other four remaining papers, yesterday Alex and I threw a birthday surprise for Xinyu the poor birthday girl who had to have a paper on her birthday. We got the cake and an evening clutch (after scouring the entire departmental store for moons) and marathoned 24 until she finally returned my three missed calls. We sped off to her house and caught her just before she was leaving for her birthday dinner so omg phew what a heart-racer but we did it!
Right now all that's going through my head is how A and I are gonna spend the summer in Europe and UK with Bottle Pop on repeat on iTunes so yeah life's never been better :D toooodles will try to blog more often from now. Love you all!

04:05 pm - the sacrifice of hiding in a lie So last Tuesday PL, ZG and I sent Xiuli off at the airport. This lucky girl is going to spend a semester in Belgium half-studying and checking out French-speaking Belgians for the rest of the time. And for once QY went MIA-ing! -sniggers-

Alex and I also met Ellyne, whom we've not seen for a longggg time, for dinner @ JP's Dintaifung and desserts @ Bakerzin thereafter. :D

Then Alex dropped Ellyne off at her hall and me at my car and we had some aggressive car-racing on the PIE which was damn fun :D
Saturday morning he came over to pick me up and drove us to my old condo where he taught me to play tennis. Because it was freeaking hot and I couldn't take the heat we called it a day and went to have lunch at dintaifung instead (again! A was absolutely smitten with dtf's xiaolongbao and fried rice pah-lease) and we decided that rational people play tennis only in cooler weather, like at night. :/
We drove back to my house to watch Meet Joe Black and Slumdog Millionaire in the home theater until he had to go off for steamboat dinner at his relatives' place.
Sunday morning I drove over to his place to pick him up and we went to catch Rachel Getting Married in the theaters with complimentary tickets and had lunch afterwards at Goodwood Park Hotel.

We were damn sad that we couldn't have the Durian Mousse Cake which would only be available in March -sulkz- so we went over to Paragon for Bakerzin's raspberry macaroons only to find that they were closed for CNY Eve. -sulkz x1000- so I drove him home and headed home for my extremely late reunion lunch :X
So anyway CNY has been a-okay and school's resuming tomorrow (damn sian) but I'm looking forward to skipping the first tutorial for more house visiting, and dinner and shopping in town with WJ in the evening. Maybe I should drop out of school, for I haven't paid the tuition fees for this semester, yet! :D
OHH have I mentioned that I knocked down this bird while I was driving. The freaking moron flew out of nowhere and LANDED in front of me on a freaking expressway, realized one femtosecond later that my car was fast approaching it, tried to pick itself up to fly away, but it was too late. Omg stupid bird. ZG sez it's extremely rare for a car to hit a flying bird, so I should buy 4D but I don't gamble so if you are interested, my car plate number is 6788 -__-"

09:27 pm - no blinding light or tunnels to gates of white, just our hands clasped so tight
Evidently I've lost my blogging drive from the three-month long hiatus. SRSLY, the workload for this semester has been so insanely laden with mid-terms to slog for and assignment deadlines to rush that I've been meeting my social circle and going shopping much less frequently.
Nevertheless I fondly remember random nuggets of sweet respites in between my ridonculously packed schedule in non-chronological order:
- the just-buy-what-you-see retail theraies with Sissy during some weekends. Damage, damage! Daddy still loves us, though >=)
- the best-tasting fish and chips ever for dinner at Bang and Charlie's in Turf City with Alex, followed by Wall-E the movie, and the amazing tiramisu his mom made that he thought I should try :)
- Ellyne's birthday lunch at Herbs and Spice aka the Berkelique's full attendance because Xinyu wasn't MIA-ing for once! :)
- Tai-tai lunch with Su Tai Tai aka Xinyu in school where we spent three freaking hours chatting away over amazingly good Indonesian food
- impromptu dinner + late night supper with ZG and QY at Curry Favor and 3am durian feast in Geylang where eventually I collapsed from complete exhaustion and had them send me home in my own car while they took a cab home themselves :( :(
- almost complete IRASers get-together (attendance check: 7!) for dinner and us squeezing successfully into WJ's Lexus to go to Holland V for desserts

- blueberry muffins I made for favoritest favoritest people of me life :D
- Saturdays which I looked so forward to for band practices in the absolutely good company of favorite people like Beth, Jags and Hafiz :D
- Band chalet one Saturday night and the paranormal investigation at OCH which we found nothing except for a couple making out -_-";
- Alumni band concert @ VCH last Saturday was a blast; thank you sbs clique, Berkelique, IRASers and Puns for your support!

-went off with the Berkelique for desserts at Prego's in Fermont Hotel; Kyle and Ellyne hitched a ride to Central (quote me in disbelief: you guys walked from Clarke Quay to VCH? and Ellyne: some people just don't change HAHAHA); Alex and I drove on to Vivo for midnight movie Burn After Reading and had amazing coffee from Pacific and then he sent me home :D
OH have I mentioned that I moved house already? My new room is so self-sufficient with everything I need except for a fridge that I hardly move out and about at all, and the parking space is ridonculously huge pah-lease rollz eyez.
---
Post script:
Just three months ago in our rented apartment in New York, we were locking ourselves in the bedroom and seeking solace in each other's arms, terribly unnerved by the fact that everything would change when tomorrow came. As we bade goodbye at the door, the one million things to say to you escaped me as all I said was, "See you in Singapore."
Three months later today, I am thankful I screwed up then, for I can't be happier (okay maybe a little) with the way things are right now.

03:35 pm - Moppers: there was this time the GB went jogging.. Whoaa hasn't it been quite a while? seems that I'm totally off the whole blogging phase already. Anyway my last week of holidays was pretty well-spent with favoritest people almost everyday:
last Monday was the sbs clique reunion over xiaolongbaos and bakerzinn desserts and shopping and also exchanged souvenirs from all over the world;
Tuesday Moppers and I chilled out at our favorite haunt in Paragon (no prize for guessing where) over espresso frap and blueberry muffins till late;
Wednesday was shopping with Sissy with courtesy of Dad's card (=ACE!) so we bought a lot of stuff *giggles* and then I met Punsiepants and she treated me to Kuriya and we had Wagyu beef on top of a million other exotic dishes OMGAD HEAVEN I could eat Wagyu beef everyday for the rest of my life pah-lease;
Thursday was movie marathon with Sissy and in the evening I gave tuition to a very sleepy student;
Friday I met Sunesh and Tiffneo (it's been a while) for pool and we drove around for good food and caught the late night movie Money No Enough (don't watch if you could hardly understand dialect) and we had a rolling good time though I nearly threw Sunesh out of the moving car for stepping on practically allll my nerves;
Saturday after managing 3 hours of sleep I went for alumni band practice and we played Merry Widow and Graffiti V = ACE and on top of all, Ivan and Beth made very good company. Was at WJ's house for the evening where his mom treated us to pizza and I wolfed down five freaking slices and we played Guitar Heroes and marvelled at the multifunctions his PS3 could do, and listened to really good Yoshiki music until I K.O.ed out of complete exhaustion;
Sunday I was personal shopper for Moppers who bought quite a lot of clothes in the end and under the same pretext I also shopped for myself (so evidently I have Not done enough shopping in the States at all). By the evening I was freaking zombified and this close to sleepwalking already AND terribly unnerved by the fact that school was starting the next day.
MONDAY = SCHOOL: after the lousiest sleep ever I woke up feeling like the grouchiest person alive and headed out of the house to pick up Shammy on the way to school. We survived the only lecture of the day which thankfully ended early and I left to meet the Berkeley clique for lunch at Executive Cafe which served pretty decent Chinese cuisine so go try it fellow NTUers!
Today I have no school and I'm taking this chance to stay at home instead of going out. Anyway these are my modules for this semester which look really so much more interesting than the previous ones:
BS201 Physiology BS202 Microbiology BS203 Advanced Cell Biology BS204 Experimental Molecular & Cell Biology BS205 Biostatistics CBC811 Forensic Science

02:01 pm - if you love me, won't you let me know Hokay as badgered by Miss E I shall blog about the past few days which have been pretty peachy and er, considerably less exhausting than the week before.
Tuesday was branded the ultimate movie marathon day with me and Alex catching Ten Promises I Made to My Dog followed by The Dark Knight, and some indulgence in tres fabu Haagen Daaz dessert in between. We rushed home afters to pack and then to IMM to meet Ellyne and Kyle for dinner. Later we drove to Ellyne's hall in pulau NTU for the sleepover (yes we're all revisiting the times back in Berkeley) and it felt strange to be back in school two weeks early.
We watched Shutter which was OMFG freaking scary but nonetheless had a brilliant storyline and I think I should get a polaroid camera but I digress. We drove to the 179 Ah Lian Beehoon coffee shop for midnight supper and then back to the room for another movie. Because the room had no aircon, and largely because we are bloody spoilt brats who could only thrive in air-con rooms, me and A promptly fell asleep ten minutes into Step Up 2, leaving K and E to watch the rest themselves. So to conclude it was a sleepover Fail :(
Thursday I went home feeling maximum job satisfaction after a very productive tuition with my tutee and at night received news that WJ had been hospitalised (and discharged 3 hours later, phew) due to a dislocated kneecap ouchh. The next day I brought movies and dvds to his place and we played Guitar Heroes on his PS3; watched the last episode of Russell Peters; and played Wii Fit which was freaking rad and got me missing my Wii with a vengeance. WJ do get well soon and STOP attempting to do pushups with your bad knee! Goodness.
The rest of the time has been spent cleaning and packing up my room; emo-ing/nua-ing in bed (thanks to Kyle for amassing a whole load of dialect vocabs into my head subconsciously in the States); flipping through albums of photos of me and Sissy when we were reeeally young and laughing our guts out; cheap thrills in the car during one night without the rents around; watching The OC S3 in an attempt to revisit the good old days in California.
I KNOW my entries have been lacking acutely in photos lately but can't help it ever since I've come back I haven't been fully utilising the cammo. Tmrw I'm meeting the coolest people from SBS i.e. the clique for lunch and I CAN'T WAIT omgad my toes are wriggling at the thought of reunion with them so stoked okay this shall be all for now what a wordy entry live with it bye!!
P.S.: HAVE I MENTIONED THAT SCHOOL IS RESUMING IN A WEEK'S TIME?? WTF DID THE THREE MONTHS OF VACATION REALLY FLY THAAAT FAST. HOLY COW :( :( :,( Current Music: cyndi lauper * time after time

01:51 pm - I SWEARRRRR...! Hello folks it's been a really well-spent week in the company of my favorite people and I finally have time to blog so here goes!
On Tuesday I had a mini catching up with Beefers-with-the-funky-hair over our favorite Malay food after a screwed-up band practice and I also experienced SG rain for the first time in a long while and discovered that Seasons chrysanthemum tea comes in packets now. And so Beefer conveniently reminded me that I had been away for a long time.
On Wednesday Alex was over to get the Wii and it felt strange to meet in SG cos we're after all used to seeing each other in the settings of the States. Afterwards me and Sissy headed to town to meet Kane and did some shopping.

At night it was the IRASers reunion with me and Wanny being back from the States and the UK respectively OMGAD WANNY IS BACK!!! We had dinner @ Sushi Tei and bantered in American and British accents and Zheguang stole the limelight by wearing this bib given by the waitress for ordering squid pasta OMGAD SO CUTE big baby!
Later on WJ dropped Wanny at Zouk and the rest of us went to Udders for ice cream. We sat at the very exact same place in the same position like the last time we were there before I left for California.

Thursday I drove to the new house to meet up with the interior designer to discuss about my new room and I think it's gonna look pretty good except that I'm not to have a walk-in closet while Dad himself is getting one so what the hell! :(
Mops was over on Friday with her PS2 and I watched her play the entire game of Shadow of the Colossus and bawled at the heartbreaking ending :,( :,(
Saturday night was SRSLY the best night ever with the usual IRASers including Ethel and Peiling whom I haven't seen for damn long, plus the ever faithful ZG who turned up despite being sick on that night.

At dinner I ordered a side dish for myself on top of my own entree and later had chendol for dessert and everyone marvelled at my enormous appetite and then decided that I should really stop eating so much but I can't help it really.
We drove to Dempsey Hill for Ben&Jerry's later on for more ice cream and I fell in love with X Japan's Endless Rain and Forever Love that WJ was playing in the car (omgad how could I even miss out on such good music all this while). We then dropped PL at City Hall and sent Ethel back home and then drive to my house to get my car while WJ went back home to play Mahjong. Because I was feeling lazy and sleepy I made ZG drive and we headed to Geylang to eat durians but got really lost and eventually drove past places like PL's house (so might as sent her home right!), WJ's house, my gramma's house, my aunt's house.. We finally found Geylang and the guys treated me to THE BEST DURIANS EVER OMGAD MAO SHANG WANG IS SERIOUSLY DAYUMMMY GOOOOOD though eventually I got freaking sick of the taste but ZG, he obviously needs durian rehab. Sick somemore.
We decided that we needed some taohway to relieve the heatiness and it was my turn to treat them to soy bean drink and xiaolongbaos (I know right, at freaking 3am). Then it was time to explore haunted houses at Sime Road and SJI respectively omgad I totally freaked out in the front seat even though we're just a safe distance away. Finally everyone became groggy and tired and it's time to go home and I took 6minutes to get home from Yishun at a slightly undecent speed and fell asleep at 6am.
3 hours later I was rudely woken up by Sis because the family was going to have dimsum for breakfast at this really famous HK restaurant in Chinatown. We drove around for some sightseeing later and also brought the relatives to see our new house and Dad decided to buy some durians which made me sick cos I just had durians like only 5 hours ago. We finally reached home at 3pm and I made do with 2 hours of sleep before waking up again to meet THE BERKELEY PEOPLE!!
We had dinner at Longhouse and all agreed that it's damn weird to be hanging out in SG and eating at a hawker centre when we're all so used to going to strictly restaurants in the States. So anyway we suddenly craved for stingray at Newton circus but my Honda car was running low on petrol and I didn't want to top up myself (cheapo) and drove it back home to take the Beetle out instead. The stingray didn't taste that good in the end so feeling shortchanged and craving for more desserts we decided to drive to Dempsey for Ben&Jerry's and then went to check out that haunted house at Sime Road again and this time the guys freaking drove all the way in! AND I was helpless in my own car because it was Alex who was driving. So anyway nothing happened, thanggod, and we pretty much had nothing else to do. Kyle and Ellyne sped off in their own car and since that area was near Alex's house he conveniently drove himself home and I took over to send Xinyu home.
Oh and I found photos of us at the arrival gate from my Sis' camera hurhur we all looked seemingly happy to be back.

Excuse me if this entry is haphazardly and incoherently done and also for the lack of photos cos I'm getting lazy with the camera. Gonna go gym now bye love ya all! Current Music: X Japan * forever love

06:55 pm - BTW I'M NOT TALKING TO YOU Photos from last few days in New York:

The clique split into two groups to visit different museums - Xinyu Changzhi and I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art WHICH WAS IMMENSELY BORING cos we couldn't for the life of us appreciate the art so eventually Xinyu and I escaped to the comforts of the museum's cafe to gossip over coffee and scones as part of our tai-tai lifestyle.
The next day we visited United Nations which felt very much like some Social Studies excursion but was still some good fun. Afterwards it was Museum of Modern Art where everyone got spontaneously paired up again. Alex and I got bored half an hour into the visit and decided it was wiser to chill out at the museum's cafe instead and that was where we tried the BEST TIRAMISU of New York, ever!
We also cruised around Manhattan in the speedboat at a top speed of 45mph (not very fast actually imo) within 30minutes and it was pretty brilll.

And at night Kyle Ellyne Xinyu and I caught The Phantom of the Opera at Broadway! We got the mezzanine seats which were really good, and other than Christine screwing up the entire part of 'Think of Me', it was worth the $111 spent.

We took a last look at Times Square and went back to our apartment at midnight and packed our luggages till 3am and intended to take an hour nap before waking up for the cab that we had booked in advance. We all overslept and woke up at freaking 5am and panicked cos we couldn't reach in time for the cab and had to cancel it. We made it to JFK airport barely alive in a speed demon's cab and boarded the coolest plane ever with Super-Economy/Pseudo-Business Class seats and therefore had the most comfortable 15-hour long flight ever. With a short transit in HK airport and another three-hour flight we found ourselves in the sunny isle of Sinkiepore once again.
I K.O.ed upon reaching home and woke up the next day feeling very disoriented in my own bed cos I was so used to waking up to familiar faces of the clique everyday. Anyway it was only 10am and we had to drive to the airport to pick up Daddy who just came back from Vietnam and afterwards we drove to our favorite Teochew restaurant for lunch. Omgad I swear Chinese cuisine is the BEZZZZZ food ever. Later on we visited maternal gramma and gave out souvenirs, then visited some vegetable farm and fish farm (omgad the horrors!) cos Dad wants to cultivate some crops and rear fishes in our new house and I almost died of boredom waiting. OH we also went to Audi showroom and the family all fell in love with the new A5 AND I HOPE DAD WILL GET IT OMGAD IMAGINE ME DRIVING IT TO SCHOOL HEHEHEHE then again the waiting list is for eight freaking months so zzz.
Finally we got home and I slacked around for a while and then went to pick up Punsiepants and together we picked up Trisno at Mandai Camp and we chilled out and also sped along the expressway at 140km/h. I tipped the petrol guy for wiping my windscreen much at Puns' protest that he does that to every car in the petrol station but I thought I was probably too used to tipping in the States so whatevs! At 2am I decided I really had to get back cos I was freaking sleepy and jet lag was killing me and I didn't want to fall asleep on the wheel.
I got stuck outside the house because I realised I lost my keys until Mom came to rescue me. I fell asleep at 3 and woke up at 9am today and met Moppers later for our favorite dessert at j8 basement 1 and she said that I've become much louder than before after I've come back and I can't agree more.
Need to adjust to life here and I freaking miss UC Berkeley so much. Oh reality slams back hard. I think I've come back to SG an even more spoilt brat than before. Okay bye!

The house we live in is really cosy and comfortable and totally VIctorian-style, like a typical American house and this is just the perfect vacation and I wish this could go on forever. 10:43 pm - 830 fuck you 830 screw you Okay here's a quick update: I arrived safe and sound in Vegas and have had a pretty good time here except for the sucky weather. Pictures up soon, or maybe no pictures cos my camera is fucking gone for good. I'm now waiting to board the plane for New York and it'll be a freaking 8-hour gruelling flight so my mood is pretty bad now. Will update once I've reached NY. Love you all. I'll be back home realllll sooon :)
